clearMDM AI-guided Duplicate Resolution
The clearMDM Data Steward Agent roadmap introduces a progressive capability stack; Data Quality, Data Governance and AI Data Stewardship, helping Enterprise organisations continuously improve and manage trusted Salesforce CRM data.
The Spring ’26 release extends the AI Data Stewardship Agent capabilities with AI-guided Duplicate Resolution and Automated Data Stewardship Decisions.
AI-guided Duplicate Resolution enables AI match scoring and reasoning to be integrated into all matching operations irrespective of processing type (API, Batch, Real-time, Flow, Event etc.). This provides data stewards with a second opinion and additional context to guide the next action taken (accept, reject, further investigation etc.) The following blog post provides further information.
The following demo shows where to setup the Data Stewardship Rule for AI Match Scoring as part of the Automated Data Stewardship Decisions.
To summarise, the following explains the options available when creating AI Data Stewardship.
AI Data Stewardship
When creating an AI Data Stewardship Rule, the following fields are available:
- Reference Type – Here you would select ‘Matched Record Pair’ and these are the records the AI Data Stewardship will update.
- Reference Field Name – The Match Score % field shown on the Matched Record Pairs Group would be selected.
- Action Type – There are 3 options to choose from; Set Match Status, Get AI Match Score,Apply AI Match Score.
Set Match Status
If you select the option to ‘Set Match Status’ you can alkso select the ‘Match Status’ you wish to set. When the Data Stewardship Rule is applied, the Matched Record pairs that meet the criteria for the rule will have the Match Status set accordingly.
Get AI Match Score
This ‘Action Type’ will set the Match Score and the reason behind the score within the Matched Record Pair Group.
Apply AI Match Score
Setting ‘Apply AI Match Score’ will populated the ‘AI Match Score Field’ and the ‘AI Match Score Reason’on the Matched Record Pair, and also set the Match Status.
Data Stewardship Job
A new Batch Job has been added to enable the Data Stewardship Rule to be executed in isolation. The Data Stewardship Job can be scheduled, as per other Jobs, to run at a specified time and date or ‘now’. The criteria that has been applied to the Data Stewardship Rule will be set when the Job is scheduled.
